The strike could be coming to an end at the University of Manitoba.
Sunday night the university put an offer on the table in an effort to end the week long labour dispute.
The president of the University of Manitoba Faculty Association, Mark Hudson, confirmed an offer was given to them but would not go into details. He did say that the association would be discussing the proposal today but that picket line would remain up until a deal is reached.
More than 30,000 students are being impacted by the strike. Although many classes are being taught by teaching assistants or non-bargining unit instructors most students have at least one class with striking professors that have been cancelled.
