Hydro crews have fanned out acres southern Manitoba in the wake of the thunderstorms that rolled though the region overnight.
Multiple outages reported in Morden due to heavy rain, lightning and downed trees. Crews responding.

Power outages hit Transcona this morning in the city but also blacked out Foxwarren, St. Lazare, Binscarth, Angusville, Rossburn, Altona and Mordon.
UPDATE: Outage in Altona area due to lightning strikes. Crews now repairing damaged equipment. Estimated restoration 2 p.m.

Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region just after 2 am Sunday morning.
