Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:
- Moose Creek Prov. Forest Pine Dock and Matheson Island
- Peguis Res. and Fisher River Res.
At 5:21 p.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
This thunderstorm is near Fisher Bay and is moving southeast at 30 km/h.
Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

- R.M. of Grahamdale incl. Gypsumville Moosehorn and Camper
- R.M. of West Interlake incl. Eriksdale and Ashern
Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
An upper level disturbance will trigger thunderstorms this afternoon over much of southern Manitoba and into the Yorkton area in southern Saskatchewan. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe, with large hail being the most likely threat. Gusty winds and brief downpours are also possible. Thunderstorm activity will diminish rapidly in the early evening hours.
