The City of Winnipeg announced late Tuesday afternoon that due to the forecasted snow storm expected to hit southern Manitoba over the next few days a number of facilities and services will not be available on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

311 in-person customer service counters in the Susan A. Thompson Building at 510 Main Street and the Bilingual Customer Service Centre at 170 Goulet Street will be closed to in-person service beginning Wednesday until further notice
Garbage and Recycling
The 4R recycling depots and Brady Road Resource Management Facility will be closed Wednesday until further notice.
Garbage and Recycling pickup is suspended for Wednesday. The city advises to not put out your carts for collection.
Indoor Pools & Fitness & Leisure Centres
All city indoor pools, fitness and leisure centres and arenas will be closed and all City-run recreation programming cancelled as of Wednesday until further notice.
Libraries
All city owned libraries are closed and all programming is cancelled as of Wednesday April 13 until further notice.
Winnipeg Transit
Winnipeg Transit anticipates that service will be impacted by the forecasted blizzard. Not all regularly scheduled bus may run. Prior to travelling check updated schedules on Navigo
Previously-booked Winnipeg Transit Plus trips cannot be guaranteed during the storm
