Manitoba Hydro is dealing with dozens of power outages on Thursday, November 11, 2021 as a winter storm passes through the province bringing high winds and heavy snow.
Hydro took to social media to explain they are dealing with snapped poles, sagging power lines and fallen trees into lines among other issues. Residents without power in some areas have been told that it could take until late Friday afternoon before power is restored.
Hydro is encouraging customers who experience a power outage to contact the utility online at hydro.mb.ca/outages.
