Storm brought largest snowfall of the season to Winnipeg

Environment Canada says that the storm earlier this week was the largest snowfall for the City of Winnipeg this season.

As of Wednesday April 14, 2021, the city saw accumulations of between 15 and 29 cm. The snowfall forced the city to undertake a major clearing operation on roads, sidewalks and paths.

Other areas of the province were also hit with large amounts of snow including up to 32 cm in Woodlands, 23 cm in Morris, High Bluff 19.6, Ste Ann 16.6, Portage la Prairie and Pinawa saw 15.2, Brandon saw between 10 and 14 cm, Steinbach saw 9.1 and Miami received between 5 and 10 cm.
