RCMP are investigating a homicide at Stony Mountain Institution just north of Winnipeg.
Police say they were called to the prison on Monday, April 22, 2019, after a 43-year-old inmate was found unresponsive, taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The investigation continues.
