A little while later, around 12:40 pm, the suspect struck a Freightliner tow truck in the area of Redonda Street and Gunn Road. He once again fled the scene.

Ten minutes later police caught up with him in the stolen truck in the area of Pandora Avenue West and Moroz Street and attempted to stop the truck. The suspect hit a police cruiser in the 600 block of Melrose Avenue West. He then fled at high speed with no regard for public safety.

The crime spree continued when the suspect broke into a collision centre on Owen Street around 3:10pm where he stole keys and other valuables. The suspect then stole a Honda Pilot and drove it through an overhead door causing significant damage. The Honda was rendered inoperable at which time the suspect entered a Ford F150.
