Stolen vehicle bursts into flames after rollover on Oak Point Highway

RCMP are investigating after a vehicle burst into flames early Saturday morning, August 29, 2020.

The vehicle was travelling northbound on Oak Point Highway just before 3:30 am when it crossed the median, drove through a ditch, hit a culvert then rolled. The vehicle then caught fire.

RCMP say that the vehicle had been stolen in Winnipeg. They said that witnesses reported three males running from the vehicle to a nearby coffee shop.

Fire crews from Winnipeg and the RM of Rosser responded and doused the fire.

Police are continuing to investigate
