Two men are facing charges after ramming police vehicles in a stolen SUV.
Police say that on January 20, 2019, an SUV was stolen from the 600
Early Thursday morning, January 24, 2019 patrol officers spotted the vehicle near Main Street and Royal Avenue. They followed it to Salter Street and Jefferson Avenue and attempted to stop it.
The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and began ramming police vehicles as he tried to escape arrest.
Police say that officers tried to remove the driver and passenger while the vehicle continued to ram vehicles.
Both the driver and passenger were eventually taken into custody.

Desjariais was also wanted on Four outstanding warrants for failing to attend court and failing to comply with a recognizance order. He was detained in custody.
The 39-year-old male passenger is facing a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 for his alleged involvement. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a recognizance order. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
Winnipeg Police have not released an estimate for the damage
