Stolen items recovered, Winnipeg man wanted

A Winnipeg man is facing criminal charges after RCMP located a cache of stolen goods as part of a break-in investigation on March 28, 2022.

According to police, officers had responded to a break and enter at an RM of Headingley business and learned a large number of construction tools were stolen.

RCMP were led to a home in Winnipeg and a search warrant was executed. Investigators located a significant amount of property that had been stolen from the greater Winnipeg area.

Police have identified a suspect and an arrest warrant has been issued for 31-year-old Lee Brandon Stewart. Stewart has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x6, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Break-in Instruments.

Police say Stewart is described as standing 6’1″ and weighing 175 lbs. He has light brown hair and blue eyes.
