RCMP are looking for a fraudster who walked into a Financial Institution in Steinbach and got an $80,000 bank draft using stolen identification then used the stolen money to buy gold in Winnipeg.
Police say that although the incident happened in July of 2018 they are now at the point in the investigation that they need help identifying the suspect.
The suspect is Caucasian with Brown Hair and a beard. At the time of the fraud, he was wearing a yellow reflective t-shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap.
Anyone with information about the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call Steinbach RCMP at 204-326-4452.
