The Church of God (Restoration) may have once again actively breached Manitoba’s public health orders by holding a drive-in church service on Sunday morning.
Last weekend parishioners were blocked from entering the church parking lot by RCMP.
Under the current provincial public health orders in-person religious services are banned that includes drive-in services.
On Saturday Manitoba Chief Justice Glenn Joyal upheld the public health orders pertaining to church services after Springs Church applied to the court for a ruling on gathering in a drive-in setting.
Enforcement officials were monitoring the service this morning at the Church of God and it was confirmed tickets were issued but it is not known how many.
