Winnipeg Police have three males in custody for two different unrelated stabbings.
Just after 8:20 pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 police responded to the first 100 block of Agnes Arnold Place. When officers arrived they found a 21-year-old man had been stabbed in the upper body. Paramedics took the victim to hospital in unstable condition but he has now been upgraded to stable.
Investigators say that an argument broke out between two people but when it escalated a third male intervened and the stabbing occurred.
Police have arrested a 15-year-old male from Winnipeg. He is facing charges of Aggravated Assault and remains in custody
Less than an hour later officers responded to another stabbing, this time in the 300 block of Portage Avenue.
The 20-year-old male victim was confronted by several people who he did not know. He tried to run away but was caught and stabbed twice in the upper body.
When officers arrived one male suspect took off but was quickly caught after a brief foot chase. The other suspect who had stabbed the victim had been held by bystanders until they arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Herbert Junior BUSHIE, 26 from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault and Possess Weapon.
Seivaindo James BUSHIE, 25 from Winnipeg has been charged with Aggravated Assault for his alleged involvement.
Both men remain in custody
