Two people in the 500 block of Ellice Avenue alerted police after discovering an injured man lying on the sidewalk around 3:30 am on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
When officers arrived they determined the 36-year-old victim had been stabbed and immediately began first aid.
The male was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police continue to investigate.
