Brandon Police have arrested a 20-year-old Rolling River First Nation man after he turned himself in for stabbing the victim.
Police say that they first learned of the stabbing just before 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018, when the victim walked into the hospital with a stab wound to his back.
According to the victim he was walking in the area of 1st Street and Richmond Avenue when a person he did not know grabbed him from behind and stabbed him.
After the incident, the victim walked to the hospital seeking medical help.
The suspect was detained and will appear in court today.
