On August 13, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service’s North District officers responded to a report of a stabbing incident on a transit bus near Main Street and Selkirk Avenue.
A male victim in his 30s was attacked during an unprovoked altercation with a male and female suspect while aboard the bus. Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene, and police were promptly contacted.
The victim was transported to the hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and is collaborating with Transit authorities to establish descriptions of the suspects involved.
