Police are investigating a seemingly random stabbing in the area of Ellice Avenue and Empress Street that happened Tuesday afternoon, July 24, 2018.
The victim, a 38-year-old male, was in the parking lot of a local business when a male he did not know ran towards him. The victim slipped and fell, according to police, and the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim once.
Police say that the suspect said nothing to the victim and did not attempt to rob him.
