Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a two-storey apartment building in the 1600 block of St. Mary’s Road Tuesday evening, June 29, 2021.
When firefighters arrived flames could be seen coming from the building. An offensive attack was launched. The fire was declared under control at 9:16 pm.
Everyone who was inside the building at the time of the fire was able to safely evacuate. Two people were assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospitalization.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
