With temperatures warming Spring has come a few days early according to the owners of the popular ice cream joint The Bridge Drive-in (BDI). Officially Spring hits on Tuesday and the BDI normally wouldn’t be open until next week but they decided to open early to take advantage of the conditions.
It didn’t take long for word of mouth to spread and people to lineup for shakes, cones and of course Goog specials. This season marks the 60th year of the BDI serving frozen treats to help keep us cool as the temperatures soar.

According to Environment Canada it is expected to reach +4 on Sunday but other forecasts say the high will be closer to +11.
