Police investigating South Pointe homicide

UPDATED

Winnipeg Police are investigating a homicide in South Pointe.

Just before midnight Monday, November 4, 2019, officers were called to a townhouse in the first 100 block of Tim Sale Drive for the report of a male shot

When officers arrived they located the victim who had died from gunshot wounds.

This is the 40th homicide of 2019 and the 11th in the past 30 days.

Three police patrol units were still at the scene Tuesday with a large area taped off.

Police say that specific information about the case won’t be released at this time
