Manitoba COVID-19 enforcement officials report that 62 warnings and 37 tickets were handed out between June 21 to June 27.
Of the tickets issued, 31 $1,296 tickets went to individuals and of those 29 were related to gatherings. Three $298 tickets were issued to people for failing to wear a mask in indoor public places. Three businesses received $5,000 fines for breaches of the public health orders.
Current public health orders remain in place as Canada Day approaches including gathering size limits.
The province is also reminding schools that they must adhere to the public health orders in place when holding graduation ceremonies. The current guidelines for holding these events can be viewed at https://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/covid/docs/bulletin11june14.pdf
