49 warnings and 38 tickets were issued across the province to people and businesses who failed to follow public health restrictions between March 22 to March 28, 2021.
22 tickets were issued to individuals in the amount of $1,296. 15 of those were related to gatherings. 13 people were fined $298 for failing to were a mask in an indoor public place. One person picked a $5,150 fine for violating the federal quarantine act.
Two businesses were fine $5,000 each for breaching public health orders.
In the last year 3,541 warnings and 1,120 tickets have been issued valued at more than $1.5 million.
