Snowfall warning issued for Winnipeg and eastern Manitoba

A snowfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada for Winnipeg and Southeastern Manitoba.

10 to 15 cm are expected in the region, including the City of Winnipeg beginning Sunday afternoon and tapering off on Monday, January 7, 2019

A low pressure system is moving in from Alberta and will spread into western Manitoba this afternoon and into the eastern part of the province by early evening.

Brandon and western Manitoba can expect 5 to 10 cm.

Wind will accompany the storm gusting up to 60 km/h. Expect poor visibility and blowing snow tonight.
