Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the City of Winnipeg and much of southern Manitoba.
Snow is expected to fall later Sunday night, December 26, 2021, into Monday with a total accumulation between 10 to 20 cm.
The national forecaster says that heavy snow is expected at times throughout the storm and winds will be gusting in some areas up to 60 km/h which could create areas of reduced visibility.
The snow will taper off from west to east on Monday.
