Snowfall warning in effect for southern Manitoba

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for all of southern Manitoba including the city of Winnipeg.

A system moving in from Saskatchewan is expected to dump 10 to 15 cm of snow across the southern half of the province later tonight and throughout the day on Saturday.

The storm is expected to produce moderate to heavy snow. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some areas. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Use caution and slow down if conditions become difficult or visibility is reduced while driving.
