A 23-year-old female was busted on Saturday after trying to smuggle drugs into Stony Mountain Institution.
Police say that they learned that during a holiday celebration for inmates and their families one of the inmates family members was going to try to smuggle in the contraband.
Through a joint investigation between Corrections Officers and RCMP, the female from Winnipeg was arrested at the institution and charged with trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Investigators seized a vial of Trenbolone, a vial of Testosterone and 25 grams of Cocaine.
The accused female was released on a promise to appear in court.
