Smoke caused an evacuation of at Winnipeg’s airport on Saturday afternoon, August 19, 2017, just after 4:30 pm.
An air conditioning unit failed causing smoke which triggered an alarm.
Passengers and visitors were ushered outside of the building while officials investigated.
About 20 minutes after the evacuation started it ended and people were allowed back in the building
