You can see it hanging in the air over Winnipeg and much of southeastern Manitoba.
Smoke from forest fires between Bisset, Manitoba and Red Lake, Ontario is wafting its way towards us due to a cold front says Environment Canada.
It is expected to dissipate by midday Saturday.
The smoke is thick and you may experience increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches and even shortness of breath.
Environment Canada says that people with lung diseases are most at risk of feeling the effects. They advise limiting going outside for prolonged periods.
