Winnipeg police announced on Sunday, that the male found on the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge on Friday night, May 6, 2022 has died from his injuries. His death is now bing investigated as a homicide.
As News 4 previously told you officers found a seriously injured male on the bridge around 10:30 pm. They provided emergency medical care until paramedics arrived. The male was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say that shortly after arriving at hospital the male was pronounced dead.
Investigators have identified the victim as 31-year-old Dominic Anthony Contois of Winnipeg.
