Six people were sent to hospital including a 5-year-old child with head injuries after a three-vehicle collision in Brandon Tuesday evening.
It happened just after 8:30 pm October 3, 2017, on Kirkaldy Drive.
Police say that a Pontiac Grand Prix that was westbound on Kirkaldy Drive collided with an SUV making a turn onto Cater Drive. The Grand Prix then collided with a minivan that was eastbound on Kirkaldy Drive.

Investigators say that all three vehicles were extensively damaged in the collision.
The driver of the Grand Prix, a 27-year-old male was air-lifted by STARS to Winnipeg due to his severe injuries. He remains in serious condition. Five other people were taken to hospital in Brandon with various injuries. Police say that the child with the head injuries is now in stable condition.
Collision Analysts for the Brandon Police Service continue to investigate the collisions. Alcohol, drugs and speed are believed to have played a part in the collision and investigators say that charges are pending for the driver of the Pontiac Grand Prix.
