Manitoba Public Health announced there were nine new cases of the virus on Friday, September 4, 2020. The total number of lab-confirmed cases stands at 1,273.
The five-day test positivity rate in Manitoba ia 1.4 per cent
One of the new cases is in the Prairie Mountain Health region, two new case in the Southern Health region, and six cases in the Winnipeg Health region.
There are 11 people being treated in hospital including one person in intensive care.
There are currently 422 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 835 people listed as recovered.
The number of deaths related to COVID-19 is 16.
1,737 laboratory tests were completed on Thursday. According to Manitoba Public Health, the total number of completed tests since early February is 142,718
