Six new cases of COVID-19 identified on Monday

Manitoba Public Health announced on Monday, July 27, 2020, that there are six new cases of COVID-19 identified in the province as of 9:30 am. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases is 400

Currently, there are 74 active cases of the virus in Manitoba and 319 people have been listed as recovered.

Currently there are 3 people being treated in hospital, two of those are being treated in intensive care.

The total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the province remains at seven.

1,393 laboratory tests were completed on Friday, 1,581 on Saturday and 808 on Sunday. The total number of tests completed since early February is 84,967.

Manitoba Public Health have issued an advisory about potential exposure from a symptomatic person at the Sherwood Grocery Store in Gull Lake on July 19, 20 and 21.

Those who are considered close contacts will be contacted by public health officials and told to self-isolate. Other people who were in the store on those days is asked to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
