Brandon Police have charged six males in connection to an assault on two inmates in Brandon Correctional Centre.
Police say the incident occurred on July 22, 2019.
Both 28-year-old male victims were taken to Brandon Regional Health Centre. One of the men was treated and released while the other remained in hospital until the next day.
Police say a 20, a 21 and a 22-year-old male along with three 23-year-old males are facing charges of Aggravated Assault and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
