Six Arrested in Major Guns and Gangs Unit Operation on Selkirk Avenue

In a significant operation, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with support from the Tactical Support Team (TST) and West and North Community Support Units, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Selkirk Avenue at approximately 8:50 p.m on July 31, 2024. The operation led to the arrest of six individuals: four adult males and two adult females.

During the search, officers seized a variety of items, including a red 2000 Honda CBR600F4 motorcycle, a red Johnny Pag Street motorcycle, 4.5 grams of fentanyl, 1.9 grams of methamphetamine, gang-affiliated clothing and leather vests, and two rounds of .22 calibre ammunition.

The individuals arrested and their charges are as follows:

  • James Edward LIGHTHEART (45) of Winnipeg:
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (x3)
    • Operate a Conveyance while Prohibited Pursuant to Federal or Provincial Act
    • Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking
  • Charles William BOYD (51) of Winnipeg:
    • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
    • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Fentanyl
    • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (x2)
    • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x3)
  • Clifford Patrick RUDOLPH (57) of Winnipeg:
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (x2)
    • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x2)
  • Lee Thomas WOODHOUSE (39) of Lake House First Nation:
    • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
    • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
    • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Ashley Marie POOLE (38) of Winnipeg:
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (x2)
    • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x4)
  • Faye Elizabeth LEDOUX (31) of Winnipeg:
    • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
    • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Fentanyl
    • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (x2)

All six individuals have been detained in custody as the investigation continues.
