A sinkhole opened up on St. Matthews Avenue on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, following heavy rainfall overnight.
The six foot by eight foot hole is in the centre of the road in the intersection with Spruce Street.
The curb lanes going both east and west are open but officials are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.
