Police and Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze that broke out in a home in the 500 block of Simcoe Street early Tuesday Morning, October 24, 2017.

Police say the fire started in a home and quickly spread to an adjacent home. Three adults were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and other related injuries. An adult male and an adult female were transported and remain in critical condition. A second adult male was transported in stable condition. Fire officials say a cat in the home died before firefighters were able to rescue it.
