Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement about an approaching Colorado low that will bring more rain to southern Manitoba over the next 36 hours.
The national weather forecaster says that significant rainfall is expected beginning Monday afternoon, May 30, 2022 and continuing until Tuesday evening.
Thunderstorms will begin moving in from the south with several more developing during the storm event. These bands of storms are expected to drop 30 to 50 mm of precipitation. Heavy downpours with much higher localized amounts are possible.
