Paramedics responded to James Richardson International Airport on Thursday afternoon after a Westjet flight from Vancouver indicated they had an ill passenger onboard.
The flight landed in Winnipeg around 2:15 pm and was met by emergency medical personnel in protective gear say News 4 sources.
One female passenger was helped off the plane by paramedics.
Officials have not released what the passenger may have been suffering from.
The remaining passengers on the plane were able disembark about 90 minutes after the plane landed.
