Police called to reports of shots being fired in the early morning hours of February 27, 2023, have charged a 34-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy in relation to the incident.
Around 4:30 in the morning on Monday, police were called to reports of shots being fired in an apartment block in the 700 block of Sargent. In the course of the investigation, police found a group of people in the hallway with a sawed-off shotgun.
The 12-year-old male arrested at the scene faces charges of possession of a weapon, possessing an unauthorized firearm and possessing a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition.
The 31-year-old was charged with possessing a weapon, failing to comply with conditions of a release order and was release on an undertaking to appear in court to face the charges.
The 34-year-old faces charges of break, enter and theft, possession of methamphetamine and failing to comply with the conditions of a release order. He was kept in custody.
