It began around 10pm Sunday night when Winnipeg Police received reports of shots being fired in a home on Arlington Street.
Police closed Arlington between Wellington Avenue and Sargent Avenue and focused their efforts on one home in the area.
Tactical Unit officers and ARV-1 were also brought to the scene to support the operation.
In the early morning hours of Monday police could be heard ordering people out of the house.
Arlington was reopened around 8:30am.
The investigation continues.
