Brandon Police have arrested a 29-year-old female shoplifter after she allegedly stole a number of clothing items from a local business.

On Friday, April 5, 2019, police in the Wheat city received a call from a store on Princess Avenue reporting a theft.

Officers went to the store and watched the surveillance video of the theft and were able to identify the suspect.

Police went to the suspects home and were quite surprised when the woman answered the door wearing the stolen clothing.

She was arrested.
