Winnipeg Police Service has arrested and charged a Winnipeg man after a string of thefts from a Portage Avenue retail store during the month of June 2023.
Between June 1 and June 28, a male entered the store eleven times and stole a total of 35 pairs of Beats headphones worth more than $15,000.
On June 28, 2023, officers watched as the suspect entered the store once again and selected four pairs of Beats headphones then leave without paying. He was immediately taken into custody.
Gregory Joseph Edward Nixon has been charged for his alleged involvement with 13 counts of Theft Under $5,000.
He remains in custody.
