Shooting investigation leads to a large cache of weapons seized

RCMP have seized a large cache of firearms as part of their ongoing investigation into the February 10 shooting at a home in the RM of Ste. Anne.

A 31-year-old male suffered non-life threatening injures and was treated in hospital.

Police arrested and charged 27-year-old Nadezda White in connection to the shooting. She remains in custody.

The investigation continued and on February 16, officers executed a search warrant at a home in St. Labre, Manitoba.

During officers discovered the handgun used in the February 10th shooting along with multiple other firearms.

A 27-year-old male was arrested and is facing charges for his alleged involvement including two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted/Prohibited Firearm with Readily Accessible Ammunition, Possession of a Prohibited Device knowing its Unauthorized, Possession of a Restricted Firearm at an Unauthorized Place, two counts of Firearms Storage Contrary to Regulations and Possession of a Prohibited Firearm knowing its Unauthorized.

The investigation continues.
