A woman is recovering after she was assaulted, knocked unconscious then seriously sexually assaulted in the area of the Disraeli Freeway and Sutherland Avenue.

It happened on September 16, 2016 around 5:30 pm.

The victim, in her mid-thirties was waiting for a bus when she was approached from behind by a man. He attacked her and she was knock unconscious. When she came tote found herself near Rover Avenue and Disraeli Street. She had been robbed and seriously sexually assaulted.

Police responded and the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sex Crime Unit investigators are looking for a male described as fair-skinned, approximately 6 feet tall, thin athletic build in this thirties with short hair and a light brown goatee.
