A 23-year-old man in Brandon is facing child porn charges after an ongoing investigation by police.
In May of 2023 the male was charged with Luring, Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Invitation to Sexual Touching, and Administer Noxious Thing after he allegedly been involved with a 15-year-old female over an 18-month period and was accused of providing her with meth.
As the investigation continued after he was charged police located hundreds of videos and images of child sexual abuse on his devices. Five additional child victims were identified. On August 28 the man was arrested by Brandon Police Service and charged for his alleged involvement with Possess Child Porn, Access Child Porn, Luring child Under 16 Years by Telecoms X5, Invitation to Sexual Touching X4, Sexual Assault X4, Sexual Interference X 2, Transmit Sexually Explicit Material and Fail to comply with Undertaking.
