As News4 told you, On July 12, 2016 at about 5:20 in the afternoon a 46 year old female had allegedly been assaulted in the 300 block of Portage Avenue.
SEXUAL ASSAULT | WOMAN ASSAULTED ON PORTAGE AVENUE
The victim observed an unknown male allegedly performing an indecent act. After indicating that she was calling police, the suspect assaulted her and she fell to the ground.
The suspect fled and the victim was treated for minor injuries.
Members of the Winnipeg Police Sex Crimes Unit investigated. On August 9, a twenty year old male, Moses Bradley Swan of Winnipeg was charged with Sexual Assault X 6, Assault cause bodily harm, as well as failing to comply with court orders.
