Police are looking for a high-risk sex offender and need help locating him.
Quentin Allan Sumner was released from federal prison on October 26, 2018, and was required to live at an approved residence in Winnipeg. He has not returned to the residence and police do not know where he is. A Canada wide warrant has been issued for Sumner’s arrest.
Sumner was declared a long-term offender in 2005 after being convicted for Sexual Assault and Choke to Overcome Resistance. He was given a five-year supervision order. A second Sexual Assault in 2007 saw that order extended to 10 years.
Police say that Sumner has been assessed as a high risk to re-offend sexually and violently. They say all females are at risk.
Anyone with information on Sumner’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit at (204)984-1888.
