Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and Winnipeg Police Service were called to the scene of a serious single-vehicle collision around 11:50 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
The collision happened after a speeding vehicle lost control and slammed into a large pine tree in the 200 block of Dalhousie Drive. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle and cause a large branch from the tree to drop onto the roof of the car.
Four people had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Paramedics performed emergency medical treatment and transported all four victims to the hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released the age or gender of the victims.
Investigators were on scene overnight.
