Winnipeg police Traffic Division officers are investigating a serious single-vehicle collision on Main Street.

Police say that the adult driver hit a tree around 1:30 just north of Assiniboine Avenue on Main Street. Emergency crews extricated the unconscious driver who was trapped inside.
The driver was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition.
